The NZ sharemarket surrendered part of yesterday’s gains in a 192.50 points slide to 10,856.69 today. Few gains were significant, AFT Pharma up 12c at $4.63, THL up 18c at $1.73 and energy stocks Genesis and Meridian each 6c up.  Declines were widespread and several stocks were reduced after strong gains this month. F&P Healthcare dropped 136c to $29.45. a2 Milk fell 34c to $18.60 and Synlait lost 13c at $7.12 on reducing its milk payout forecast. Mainfreight gave up 19c at $39.80, Chorus 32c at $7.20, Port Tauranga 14c at $7.36 and Freightways 10c. Contact Energy was down 16c to $6.25 and Trustpower 14c lower at $7. Sanford fell 58c to $6.80 on easier annual results released today and Goodman Property fell 10c to $2.20 on its annual results. Restaurant Brands provided good detail at its AGM but the share price shed 10c at $12.90. Auckland Airport weakened by 14c to $6.40 and Infratil by 13c at $4.82.
